Leki 's MAKALU FX CARBON ANTICHOC folding trekking pole is now available from Speck-Sports.

The Makalu FX Carbon incorporates all the fundamentals that have made Leki famous. A carbon tube makes for a pole that's both lightweight and durable. The Makalu FX Carbon Antichoc is foldable, which means it takes up very little space when you're not using it(40 cm). Once unfolded, you can adjust the length of the pole between 110 and 130 cm thanks to the Speed Lock 2+ mechanism.

The Aergon Air handle is extended downwards, so you can adjust the grip to suit the situation. Finally, the adjustable Lock Security Skin hand strap is also designed for maximum comfort.

A little bonus over the basic version is the shock-absorbing technology, which reduces the trauma to your joints.
