The durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment enhances this surface protection: water droplets bead up and roll off before they even reach the membrane. The entire jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester, reflecting a material choice consistent with a commitment to reducing environmental impact.

The absence of side seams minimizes pressure points and areas of friction under a backpack’s shoulder straps—a detail that matters during long days at high altitudes. The gusseted elbows accommodate movements while climbing or traversing technical terrain without restricting the torso. Ventilation zippers under the arms allow heat to escape quickly during sustained exertion, without having to remove the jacket. VELCRO® tabs on the sleeves provide a precise fit at the wrists, which is useful when wearing gloves or undergloves.

The full-length center zipper ensures a watertight seal along the entire length of the torso.
