The Performance of the GORE-TEX® ePE Membrane

This jacket features the new 3-layer GORE-TEX® ePE membrane, known for providing exceptional protection against the elements. With a waterproof rating of 28,000 mm, it effectively protects against rain, snow, and moisture, even during intense use. Its optimized breathability, with a RET rating of less than 13, effectively wicks away sweat to maintain excellent comfort during physical activity. Completely windproof, it provides a reliable barrier against the elements while remaining exceptionally lightweight thanks to its 30D recycled nylon fabric weighing just 101 g/m².

Freedom of movement designed for the mountains

The technical Y-shaped cut and articulated sleeves were specially developed to offer a wide range of motion. Whether you’re in the middle of a climb, handling your gear, or simply making your way along a trail, the jacket follows your every movement without causing any discomfort. Its slightly longer back further enhances protection against the cold and moisture, while the asymmetrical Velcro®-adjustable cuffs ensure a precise fit and excellent support.

Effective ventilation for intense activities

When the effort intensifies, this mountaineering jacket perfectly regulates body temperature. The long underarm ventilation openings feature water-resistant YKK® zippers and allow for rapid and efficient airflow. This ventilation system provides significant comfort during sustained climbs or high-intensity activities.

A more sustainable design

This technical jacket is also part of a more environmentally friendly manufacturing approach. More than half of the synthetic fibers used are recycled, and the durable water-repellent treatment is guaranteed PFC-free. The fabric is Bluesign® certified, attesting to more responsible production, and the jacket is manufactured in an inspected and publicly rated factory that meets high standards of transparency and quality.
