REUSCH CONAN R-TEX® XT MITTEN Ski Gloves

REUSCH CONAN R-TEX® XT MITTEN Ski Gloves: Reliable Protection and Controlled Warmth

The REUSCH CONAN R-TEX® XT MITTEN ski gloves are designed to provide effective protection and reliable comfort during your days on the mountain. Their waterproof and breathable softshell construction, combined with extra-warm R-LOFT® synthetic insulation, makes these mittens ideal for demanding winter conditions. The R-TEX® XT membrane provides a windproof and waterproof barrier while allowing moisture to escape, maintaining a comfortable interior climate. With their long cuffs and a closure system designed to keep snow out, these mittens prioritize safety and comfort for your ski outings.

Waterproofing and protection to withstand the elements

At the heart of the REUSCH CONAN R-TEX® XT MITTEN ski gloves, the R-TEX® XT membrane plays a central role: it is waterproof, windproof, and breathable, allowing you to keep your hands dry while wicking away moisture generated by physical activity. The softshell construction, which is both water-resistant and highly breathable, enhances this protection by providing a surface that limits moisture penetration while remaining comfortable against the skin. The long cuff wraps around your wrist and part of your forearm, helping to keep snow out and keep the mitten securely in place on your hand. The smart closure system, combined with the adjustable wrist strap, helps you effectively seal the opening for added protection against snow and wind.

Targeted insulation and warmth for cold days

The R-LOFT® insulation in the REUSCH CONAN R-TEX® XT MITTEN ski gloves is an extra-warm and soft synthetic fiber designed to retain heat even in wet conditions. This technology maintains a high level of warmth by efficiently distributing the insulation throughout the mitten, resulting in a consistent feeling of thermal comfort. The ThermoHood system, featuring fleece material at the fingertips, provides extra warmth to this area, which is particularly sensitive to the cold. The fleece lining also contributes to a pleasant feel inside the glove, which is especially appreciated when wearing your ski mittens for long stretches at a time.

Freedom of Movement and Comfortable Grip

The stretchy softshell construction offers good freedom of movement for your hands and fingers, while maintaining a protective structure. This material is described as highly stretchy, soft, and smooth, which enhances comfort and minimizes pressure points when you grip your poles or adjust your gear. The inclusion of goatskin in the construction enhances the mitt’s durability while allowing for a more precise grip, which is beneficial when handling your ski gear. Thanks to this combination of polyester, goatskin, and polyurethane, you’ll enjoy a balance of flexibility, durability, and comfort, tailored to the demands of a day on the slopes.

Practical features for worry-free use on the slopes

The features of the REUSCH CONAN R-TEX® XT MITTEN ski gloves are designed to make your day on the slopes easier. The adjustable wrist strap allows you to fine-tune the fit, ensuring the mittens stay securely in place throughout your runs. The smart closure system at the cuff helps prevent snow from getting inside, especially when skiing in powder or during falls. The Storm Leash, an elastic strap that wraps around your wrist, provides extra security by preventing your mittens from falling off or getting lost when you briefly take them off on the lifts or at the edge of the slopes. These practical features let you enjoy your day on the slopes by minimizing fiddly adjustments.
