Guide Pro mittens are the result of repeated testing on the off-piste trails of Chamonix, where only the most reliable gear survives the harshest conditions. This updated version features reinforced palms, thumbs, and fingers, providing unmatched durability for handling ropes, ice axes, and technical equipment. The interior, structured with separate compartments for each finger, combines the warmth of a classic mitten with the precision of a glove, a rare balance that is particularly appreciated by professionals.

High-end leather for lasting performance

Made from sun-dried cowhide leather that has been pre-treated to resist moisture, the Guide Pro gloves combine flexibility and durability in a 100% premium material. Their membrane-free design improves breathability and provides excellent protection against snow and cold. The naturally flexible leather is soft from the first use and gains character with each outing. To extend their longevity, occasional application of a treatment such as Nikwax helps maintain their original waterproofing while respecting the natural qualities of the leather.

Deep warmth and optimized comfort in the worst conditions

Thinsulate™ 200 g+ insulation envelops the hands in deep, stable warmth, tested to withstand temperatures as low as -30°C. The extended cuff with fold-down flap facilitates repeated handling and provides effective protection against the wind, while the elasticated wrist ensures a precise fit and prevents cold air from entering. Recognized and worn by guides, ski patrollers, and instructors, these mittens offer a level of reliability that will see you through long days at altitude as well as more moderate everyday activities.

The SNOWSHEPHERD Guide Pro is ready to face the cold with you, from the first turn to the longest days in the mountains.
