Speck-Sports introduces the Jetboil JETPOWER cartridge!
Containing 73% isobutane, 25% propane and 2% butane, this high-performance Jetpower cartridge ensures maximum efficiency with minimum consumption. The Jetpower cartridge is compatible with other stoves with a screw system (EN 417 standard) and can be used whatever the temperature, pressure or season.
Thanks to its high calorific value, isobutane provides heat during combustion and maintains constant pressure and performance down to -12°C.
For use in very cold conditions (down to -42°C), you can rely on the performance of propane. This gas withstands the cold and guarantees high pressure in the Jetpower cartridge.
Jetboil has chosen to use very small quantities of butane instead of isobutane to maintain the performance of its stoves in extreme conditions. Butane has goodheat transfer propertiesabove -0.5°C. Its small quantity (2%) will not hinder the efficiency of your cartridge, even below -0.5°C.
The Speck-Sports team recommends the Jetboil JETPOWER cartridge as a complement to your stove for your outdoor adventures in very cold conditions.
