SHOCK CORD REPLACEMENT KIT from MSR is a replacement kit for your tent's bungee cords.
Over time, your tent's bungee cords wear out. With repeated handling, these elastic cords naturally lose their elasticity. All the more so when the vagaries of the weather - temperature changes, cold, rain, sun, etc. - are taken into account. All contribute to this degradation process. You're bound to have to replace this worn element at some point.
This tent bungee cord replacement kit is made from high-quality silicone. Durable, it outperforms natural rubber. Not only is it more durable, it also remains elastic despite extreme temperatures, down to -40 F/C or -4.44°C. It combines high strength and solidity. It will secure your tent poles for a long time to come.
SHOCK CORD REPLACEMENT KIT by MSR is 9 meters long. Thanks to its 3.5 mm diameter, it fits most tent poles. Use it to replace your tent's cords. The kit comes with detailed instructions and all the materials needed to replace the elastic cord of a tent pole on a typical 3-person trekking tent.
