Camp is an Italian brand with over a century of experience under its belt! Its creation dates back to 1889. At that time, the CAMP company was actually a blacksmith, Nicola Codega, who owned a small workshop. He loves a job well done, has an eye for detail, and the creation of equipment is handed down from father to son. It's a family business with great expertise.
C.A.M.P stands for "Conception d'Articles de Montagne à Premana". They became famous for the strength and quality of their ice axes for Italian alpine hunters. Today, Camp is present in 80 countries.

The Minima Pro tent from CAMP
The Minima Pro tent comes in 2 models: 2-seater and 3-seater, giving it a certain versatility. Both offer ample space and unrivalled camping comfort!
Above all, these are compact, double-roofed tents that are still very light. The self-supporting frame is equipped with clips for fast, efficient assembly! And we know what a nuisance setting up and taking down a tent can be! But with the Minima pro the problem is solved!
Technical features worthy of the biggest tents!
It has 2 large zippered entrances, providing good ventilation when you need to air the tent. What's more, the inner roof is made of mesh to maximize ventilation! No more humidity problems with Camp 's Minima Pro !
Inside, you'll find 4 pockets on each side and a lamp holder that will make your task easier once the sun goes down! In addition to this storage capacity, Minima Pro tents feature large apses on both sides (i.e. at each opening). These allow you to store your gear efficiently throughout the night, without taking up too much space inside the tent.
What's more, the system for attaching the inner section to the poles is intuitive, thanks to a series of clips that are easy to adjust.
With the Minima Pro, you'll always be dry!
When it comes to waterproofing, which remains one of the most important features when buying a tent, Camp's Minima Pro features a 2000mm rating for the rain fly made of 30D Nylon Ripstop, and a 5000mm rating for the ground sheet made of 70D 190T/N Nylon. This means that you won't be getting any raindrops at night! However, the Speck Sports team would like to remind you that it's vital to pitch your tent properly, and to make sure there's enough space between the two walls! It's the space between these two parts that makes your tent waterproof and prevents condensation!
To ensure maximum grip and ease of assembly, the flysheet is held to the tent's outer frame by Velcro straps and turnbuckles, guaranteeing simple, fast and secure anchoring.
With this tent model, Camp offers a lightweight, efficient product with top performance. The Minima Pro tent weighs just 1.5kgs (2persons) and 2.1kgs (3persons). These tents are lightweight and very solid, and are ideal in terms of durability thanks to the technology they incorporate.
And if that still sounds heavy, don't hesitate to spread out the weight of this tent! But theSpeck Sports team would like to remind you that, on average, the ideal weight of a tent for backpacking is (around) 1 kilo per person. The Minima Pro tents are therefore well below this average, and shouldn't cause you too many transport problems.
