Tour de la vallée de la Thur: 4 and 5 July 2020

For the moment, there's no skiing or snow in our mountains. Why not put on a good pair of hiking or trail shoes and set off on an adventure along the trails in our region? One of these routes has a long history and is much talked about! It' s called the Tour de la Vallée de la Thur.

Every July, at the start of the summer, a large number of mountain aficionados get together to discover or rediscover the natural beauty of our region. Their aim? To cover the hundred or so kilometres that make up the Tour de la Vallée de la Thur!

Last year, the start and finish were in Saint Amarin (68550), and here's the profile of this titanic stage!

There are 2 other distances for those who don't want to take on a 24-hour ride! There's the petit tour de la vallée (30km and 1,542m ascent) and the tour de l'arrière vallée (56km and 2,412m ascent). Last year, in 2019, this sporting event attracted just under a thousand walkers (939) aged 11 to 77.

This year Speck-Sports will be partnering the event, so we invite you to grab your pair of shoes and set off on an adventure on the trails of the Vosges club! The scenery, the atmosphere and the gradient will leave you breathless! It's a real journey through the Vosges environment, all on a superb signposted trail with organised refreshments!
