The snow probe is an essential element in the search for an avalanche victim. Along with the shovel and the avalanche transceiver, it makes up the mandatory trilogy for off-piste skiing safety.
A simple, effective probe from Ortovox. It's made from7075 T6aluminium and measures 240 cm.
Its Quick-Lock system makes assembly quick and easy.
The probe has a special tip that makes it much easier to push the probe into the snow.
The probe is graduated, with the first strand in orange and a visual marker at a height of 1 m.
