Designed for expert skiers seeking precision and dynamism on the slopes, the XO V3 L WHITE BLACK ski is ideal for those who ski at high speeds and want a ski with crisp, responsive handling. Its sandwich construction, combined with a full-length wood core, provides high stiffness and immediate responsiveness, making it particularly well-suited for short, sharp turns on groomed slopes. Its sidecut of 126/77/107 mm and a 14-meter turning radius in the 166 cm length make it a performance-oriented carving ski, capable of excelling on all types of terrain thanks to its All Mountain profile.
The V3’s sandwich construction ensures precise power transfer without energy loss—an essential feature for skiers looking to fully exploit high-speed carving. The full-wood core, carefully machined from the finest wood species, ensures finely tuned flex and torsion along the entire length of the ski. Designed in Switzerland and handcrafted in Italy, the V3 also stands out for its absence of metal and binding plates, resulting in a significant 30% weight reduction compared to traditional constructions, without compromising structural rigidity.
Two layers of fiberglass with different densities envelop the wood core to modulate longitudinal stiffness and torsional behavior according to the forces applied. The high-density Premium Base promotes smooth glide and good wax retention, while the high-quality steel edges ensure solid grip even on hard or icy snow. The slightly rockered tip, integrated into the All Mountain Rocker profile, makes it easier to initiate turns and expands the ski’s versatility without compromising its sporty character.
With maximum stiffness and a more dynamic ride than the range’s all-mountain models, the V3 is clearly aimed at skiers who ski aggressively and seek to push their limits on the slopes. Its unidirectional construction, featuring a 126 mm tip width, allows it to handle varying snow conditions with stability while maintaining a narrow 77 mm waist that promotes efficiency on groomed runs. The weight of the 166 cm pair, measured at 4,543 g, reflects the desired balance between lightness and structural strength.
The XO V3 L is an alpine ski designed for expert skiers seeking precision and dynamism on the piste. Its sandwich construction, combined with a full-length wood core, ensures a stiff flex and controlled torsion, delivering crisp edge grip and immediate responsiveness in turns. The all-mountain rocker expands the ski’s versatility beyond groomed runs, without compromising high-speed performance.
