The Julbo CELEST GRIS ski helmet is a unisex model designed for alpine skiers, freeriders, freetourers, and ski tourers looking for a helmet with an integrated visor that combines protection and visual comfort. Its REACTIV photochromic spherical visor provides a panoramic view that adapts to changing light conditions on the mountain, eliminating the need to change lenses throughout the day. ERT® technology is another key feature of this helmet, helping to reduce the effects of frontal and lateral impacts on the internal structure.

The Julbo CELEST GRIS helmet and its ERT® protection technology

ERT® (Energy Return Technology) is integrated into the helmet’s structure to mitigate the forces transmitted to the skull during a frontal or lateral impact. The rigid outer shell works in combination with an internal structure made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), whose energy-absorption capacity has been proven in mountain safety gear. A dual-density foam lining completes the design, ensuring a precise fit and comfortable contact with the head. The helmet weighs 600 g, a weight consistent with the level of built-in features.

An integrated visor designed for changing conditions

The REACTIV photochromic spherical visor automatically adjusts to light intensity, whether under overcast skies or in intense sunlight on snow. Its spherical shape reduces optical distortion and widens the field of view. It was designed to be operated while wearing gloves, eliminating the need to take them off in the middle of a run. The helmet is also OTG-compatible, meaning it can be worn by skiers who wear prescription glasses, thanks to an internal space designed to accommodate both the helmet and glasses at the same time.

Comfort and convenience for everyday use on the slopes

The Fidlock® magnetic closure makes it easy to put on and take off the helmet, even while wearing gloves. The Full Adjustable Fit system allows for precise head circumference adjustment for sizes ranging from 55 to 59 cm. The removable 3D ear pads provide adjustable thermal insulation depending on conditions, and the Adjustable Air Flow ventilation system allows you to adapt airflow to your activity level and the outside temperature.
