The Oakley MOD1 Youth helmet combines a low-profile, lightweight design with a fit tailored for young skiers and snowboarders. Its design, inspired by skate helmets, maintains a sleek, understated shape, making it ideal for children and teens looking for comfortable gear without unnecessary bulk.
The BOA® 360 adjustment system allows for precise helmet adjustment to ensure a stable, personalized fit. The model also features a Fidlock® magnetic buckle, designed for easy closure, even when wearing gloves. The removable “Wheelie” Youth Fit Wedge is designed to limit backward tilt and promote more even coverage of the forehead, while improving integration with goggles.
The Youth version is available in two sizes specified by Oakley: Small, for a head circumference of 49 to 53 cm, and Medium, for a head circumference of 53 to 57 cm. The helmet is certified to ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077 standards, according to the official Oakley Standard Issue source.
