The Leki DRIFTER VARIO S is a junior alpine ski pole designed to adapt to children’s growth thanks to its adjustable length ranging from 90 to 120 cm. Made of HTS 5.5 aluminum, it combines durability and lightness to provide stability and control on the slopes. Featuring components developed with LEKI’s expertise, this pole supports young skiers’ progress season after season, eliminating the need to replace equipment with every growth spurt.

Sturdy construction and simplified adjustment for the slopes

The HTS 5.5 aluminum tube, with a diameter of 14 mm at the top and 12 mm at the bottom, ensures a good balance between stiffness and impact resistance—a feature particularly valued in junior use, where poles are subjected to a variety of stresses. The two-section telescoping design allows for precise length adjustment, secured by the Speed Lock Plus system—a lever-lock mechanism that’s easy to operate even while wearing gloves. When folded, the pole measures 63 cm, making it easy to carry and store at the end of the day. The steel Flex Tip ensures reliable grip on the various types of snow encountered on the slopes.

Ergonomic grip designed for young skiers

The Trigger S SL grip, made of 2K Soft material, offers an ergonomic hold well-suited to the shape of children’s hands, with a textured surface that promotes comfort even during long sessions. The Trigger Vario Strap features a safety release mechanism: in the event of a fall, the hand automatically releases from the strap, reducing the risk of wrist injury. The Trigger S system allows for quick and secure engagement and release without complicated maneuvers—a feature that children and their parents will appreciate every day.

The compact, streamlined Cobra Alpine basket is designed specifically for on-piste skiing. It provides precise support on groomed snow without hindering movement, contributing to clean, technical form from the very first runs. The Black-Dark Anthracite-Neon Orange color scheme gives the pole a dynamic look that’s easy to spot on the slopes.
