Elan SKY JR SHIFT Ski Set + EL 7.5 GW Bindings

Designed for young beginner to intermediate skiers, this junior pack combines Elan Sky JR Shift skis with pre-mounted EL 7.5 GW bindings to offer a gradual and reassuring introduction to groomed slopes. U-Flex technology, which makes the skis 25% more flexible than a standard construction, makes it easier to get the hang of skiing right from the first few runs at the resort. The Early Rise Rocker profile rounds out this package by making it more intuitive for children to initiate turns as they learn.

The Elan SKY JR SHIFT Ski Pack + EL 7.5 GW Bindings, designed for controlled progression

The Full Power Cap construction provides structural integrity throughout the ski, combining durability with maneuverability suited to a child’s frame. The Synflex core, made of lightweight synthetic material, helps reduce the overall weight so children can maneuver the skis without excessive effort. The fiberglass laminates provide the stiffness needed for stable handling on groomed snow, without adding unnecessary weight. The Extruded Base ensures smooth glide, well-suited for use at family-friendly resorts. With a waist width of 69 mm and tip/waist/tail dimensions of 101/69/90 mm, the ski’s geometry is specifically calibrated for all-mountain junior use.

GripWalk-compatible bindings for versatile use

The Shift EL 7.5 GW bindings come pre-mounted and cover a DIN range of 2.0 to 7.5, meeting the needs of young skiers as they progress. Their GripWalk compatibility allows them to accommodate both Alpine Junior boots (ISO 5355) and GripWalk Junior boots (ISO 23223), as well as the adult equivalents of these two standards. The Full Diagonal release system built into the bindings engages in multiple directions to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall. This versatility in boot compatibility offers families significant flexibility when choosing equipment.

An Early Rise Rocker profile for a gentle introduction to skiing

The Early Rise Rocker profile plays a central role in the learning experience: it makes it easier to initiate turns, reduces edge snagging, and improves floatation in soft snow. For a child just discovering alpine skiing, this feature translates into fewer hang-ups and smoother turns from the very beginning. Combined with the increased flexibility of U-Flex technology, it allows young learners to work on their edge control from their very first sessions, without the stiffness of the equipment hindering their progress.

The Elan SKY JR SHIFT ski set + EL 7.5 GW bindings comes with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty and is designed for beginner to intermediate children looking to improve their skills on groomed slopes in a resort setting.
