Dynastar SPEED HERITAGE GOLD KONECT+SPX 12 KONECT GW B80 BK HOT RD Ski Set

This Dynastar ski and binding set is designed for expert and aggressive skiers seeking precise carving or slalom-style skiing on groomed slopes. The sidecut geometry—with a tip width of 116 mm, a waist of 69 mm, and a tail width of 103 mm—creates a ski designed for grip and quick turn initiation. The 13-meter turning radius confirms its strong carving focus, ideal for short, sharp turns.

Sandwich Construction and Materials: Precision for Performance

The Speed Heritage Gold Konect’s Full Sidewall sandwich construction features vertical sidewalls along the entire length of the ski, maximizing force transfer between the skier and the snow. This design ensures significantly greater precision and edge grip than a traditional cap construction. The PEFC-certified beech wood core, with a density of 710 g/m³, provides a rigid and uniform foundation that contributes to stability at high speeds. Two layers of Titanal covering the entire width and length of the core further reinforce this stability by reducing unwanted torsional effects. The Factory Base sintered base completes the package by ensuring optimized glide and increased durability under intensive use.

The KONECT system and SPX 12 bindings: uncompromising power transfer

The R22 WC Binding Plate connects the ski to the bindings, optimizing the transmission of the skier’s input to the edge. The integrated KONECT binding system combines a Full Action toe piece—featuring 180° multi-directional release and 45 mm of elastic travel—with an SPX heel piece offering long elastic travel. This combination ensures instant power transfer while absorbing shocks caused by uneven terrain. Compatibility with Alpine ISO 5355 A and GripWalk® ISO 23223 A soles offers significant versatility, and the sole length adjustment range extends from 260 to 375 mm to accommodate a wide variety of boots.

Geometry and Rocker: On-Piste Performance of the Dynastar Speed Heritage Gold Konect

The ski’s profile features a tip rocker combined with standard camber underfoot, a configuration that facilitates turn initiation while maintaining edge grip during the turn exit. Available in lengths of 166 and 174 cm, this pack accommodates skiers of different builds without compromising the sharp character of the geometry. The 2027 collection incorporates these technical features into a solid-color design that highlights the visual identity of the Speed Heritage line.
