Salewa LITETREK II tent
The Salewa LITETREK II tent is now available from Speck-Sports!
The Litetrek II is a freestanding tent designed for 2 people. It is designed for complicated terrain, where protection from the weather is a priority. Its great stability makes it a very hard-wearing tent that can withstand wind gusts of up to 90 km/h.
This 3-season tent is very pleasant and easy to use. Thanks to its large walls that open vertically, you'll have more space.
The Litetrek II has just one entrance with a single vestibule, so you can keep your tent well insulated.
Its rain fly is made from drop-resistant 20D ripstop nylon coated with PU and silicone with a water column of 3,000mm, the floor is made from 40D ripstop nylon coated with resistant PU with a water column of 5,000mm, and the inner tent is made from 66D ripstop polyester with mesh netting and entrance to create a mosquito barrier.
Ventilation is regulated by a panel with zips at the back (which can be used from the inside and outside), allowing you to regulate the fresh air and prevent the ingress of moisture.
It weighs in at 2470g, making it slightly above average for touring (where the benchmark is around 1kg/person)
