Designed for women who don't let bad weather stop them from enjoying the outdoors, the Parajumpers Kasane is part of the All Weather collection and comes with a clear promise: complete waterproofing without adding bulk to the silhouette. Its cropped cut and three-layer laminated fabric make it a summer jacket that’s as functional as it is stylish, designed for days with changing weather.

The Parajumpers KASANE WOMAN Jacket: Waterproofing Built Layer by Layer

At the heart of the Kasane is a three-layer laminated fabric combining ripstop nylon on the outer layer and a woven polyester mesh on the inner layer, creating a structure that is both durable and lightweight. With a water column rating of 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m²/24h, the jacket handles heavy downpours just as well as body moisture generated during physical activity. The permanent water-repellent treatment causes water droplets to roll off the surface, while heat-sealed seams and waterproof zippers eliminate common points of water ingress. The front closure, featuring a double waterproof zipper concealed under a buttoned storm flap, further enhances this overall waterproofing.

A fit designed for movement and comfort

The Kasane’s comfortable cut provides enough room to layer a mid-layer without restricting movement. The stowable hood with a drawcord discreetly tucks away in good weather and deploys quickly at the first sign of rain. The elastic cuffs ensure a snug fit at the wrists, and the drawcord-adjustable hem allows you to customize the length depending on conditions. The integrated back ventilation helps dissipate heat during prolonged activity, preventing condensation from building up inside.

Functional details and a bold visual identity

For storage, two waterproof zippered front pockets hold essentials without risk of moisture, complemented by two inner mesh pockets for items that need to stay dry and within easy reach. Stylistically, the Kasane features the brand’s signature visual elements: a patch on the sleeve, an iconic yellow stripe at the neck closure, and laser-cut lettering on the inner flap. These details contribute to the recognizable identity of these sportswear jackets without making them overly flashy.
