katadyn BEFREE AC 1L water filter

Katadyn's BeFree Filtre AC is an ultra-light, compact water filter designed for adventurers looking for a high-performance, easy-to-use filtration solution.

The EZ-Clean membrane is made of hollow fibers (0.1 micron), effective against bacteria, protozoa and microplastics, and the filter uses a replaceable activated carbon cartridge to improve water taste and reduce chlorine, odors and turbidity.

With a fast flow rate of up to 2 liters per minute, it provides instant, effortless access to drinking water.

Its clever design includes a BPA- and PVC-free TPU Hydrapak® SoftFlask™ , a sturdy flip-up cap guaranteeing a perfect seal and a rigid loop for easy attachment to a backpack.

The EZ-Clean filter is simply cleaned by agitating it in water, without the need for additional accessories, ensuring a long service life of up to 1000 liters depending on water quality.

Practical, lightweight and efficient, the BeFree Filtre AC is the ideal companion for all your adventures, from trail riding to bikepacking.
