The AETHER 55 hiking backpack by Opsrey is once again available from Speck-Sports for the 2022 season.

The little brother of the Aether Plus range, the Aether 55 offers ample volume for your long mountain outings.

Bigger means heavier, which is why Osprey has equipped it with a host of adjustment options to make your backpack as comfortable as possible. These include adjustable shoulder straps and Fit-on-the-Fly waistbelt, as well as adjustable back length. The Airscape back panel with EVA foam padding makes for a breathable yet comfortable model.

The main compartment is accessible via three access points: top, bottom or front U-shaped opening. With a removable divider, this large compartment can be split in two. The bottom opening gives access to the lower compartment.

When it comes to storage, the Aether 55 has it all: double zipped pockets in the top flap, front tote pocket, side mesh pockets with double access, pole holder, two zipped pockets in the hip belt, twin ice axe loops. To optimize storage, the Aether 55 is also equipped with compression straps.

Last but not least, the Aether 55 is a highly functional and well-thought-out rucksack, featuring an integrated rain cover, a system for inserting a water pocket and even the possibility of attaching a Daylite model to the front for day-long outings.
