Elan RIPSTICK TOUR 88 W Skis

The Elan Ripstick Tour 88 W is a women’s touring ski designed for outings where efficiency on the ascent must be balanced with solid downhill performance. Elan describes it as the lightest and narrowest model in the Ripstick Tour series, with a waist width of 88 mm. Its design is specifically geared toward long ascents and the varied conditions encountered in the mountains.

In the 148 cm size, it has a turning radius of 13.7 m and a sidecut of 127-88-105 mm, according to the official Elan 2026/27 catalog. The Amphibio profile combines a cambered inner edge with a rockered outer edge to enhance grip and precision while facilitating direction changes.

The 360° Sidewall construction is paired with a TubeLite Woodcore, reinforced with carbon and fiberglass. Carbon Bridge Technology adds a carbon strip along the top of the ski to enhance stability, cushioning, and vibration dampening. A Titanal reinforcement at the binding area completes the construction.

The manufacturer intends this ski for intermediate to expert skiers; according to the Speck-Sports product sheet, it is categorized as "Advanced / Expert."
