Designed for male outdoor enthusiasts seeking performance in the mountains, the Millet EVOLE 700 HD Down Jacket is ideal for hiking and mountaineering in winter conditions. This hiking jacket offers optimized insulation thanks to a combination of water-repellent duck down and recycled synthetic material. Its TORAY® Light Ripstop fabric made from recycled polyamide provides durability and functionality with an eco-conscious approach. Packable into its own pocket, it slips easily into a backpack so it’s ready to go as soon as temperatures drop.

High-performance insulation for mountain outings

The Millet EVOLE 700 HD down jacket is designed to provide insulation suitable for mountain outings, featuring a K Dry™ 90/10 hydrophobic duck down fill with a fill power of 700 cuin. This composition promotes efficient thermal performance while maintaining a lightweight feel, thanks to the combination of down and recycled synthetic material. The 140 g of down in size M illustrates the fill density and contributes to a consistent feeling of warmth. The inclusion of recycled synthetic material enhances thermal performance in wet conditions, making this a hiking jacket designed for a variety of mountain environments.

Water-repellent protection and durable fabric to withstand the elements

The Millet EVOLE 700 HD Down Jacket features a PFC-free DWR water-repellent treatment, which helps repel water on the surface while limiting the use of fluorinated compounds. This treatment, combined with the 100% recycled polyamide TORAY® Light Ripstop fabric, provides a shell that is both tear-resistant and functional for hiking or mountaineering. The seamless design at the shoulders helps minimize irritation caused by backpack straps rubbing against the skin, improving comfort over time. The athletic fit, adjustable with a drawcord at the bottom of the garment, helps block cold air from entering and allows you to adjust the volume to match the rest of your layers.

Features designed for mountaineering and winter hiking

The Millet EVOLE 700 HD down jacket features an adjustable mountaineering hood designed to fit under a helmet, meeting the needs of climbers tackling rock faces or glacial terrain. This hood provides full-coverage protection around the head without interfering with helmet use. The three zippered pockets—including two hand pockets and one interior pocket—provide secure storage for small essentials needed in the mountains. The jacket packs down into its own pocket, making it easy to carry in a mountaineering or hiking pack and keeping it within reach when temperatures drop. Weighing 465 g in size M, this mountain-oriented sportswear jacket is easy to carry for everyday use as well as on challenging outings.
