The North Face HYDRENALITE Down Jacket
Designed for winter outings, The North Face HYDRENALITE Down Jacket is a sportswear jacket that combines insulation and lightweight construction thanks to its 600 cuin recycled goose down fill. Its WINDWALL™ lining enhances wind protection, while the PFC-free DWR water-repellent finish keeps moisture at bay. The raglan sleeves ensure freedom of movement, and the three-panel fixed hood provides a secure fit in cold weather.
The North Face HYDRENALITE Down Jacket
Designed for women who enjoy outdoor activities in cold weather, the The North Face Hydrenalite combines recycled down insulation with a PFC-free water-repellent finish to withstand winter conditions. Its regular fit and raglan sleeves allow for natural mobility without compromising on warmth. A jacket designed for outdoor adventures when temperatures drop.
Insulation and protection from the elements in The North Face Hydrenalite down jacket
At the heart of the Hydrenalite is 600 cuin recycled goose down insulation—a fill power rating that reflects the down’s ability to trap warm air and effectively retain heat in cold conditions. The lining features WINDWALL™ technology made from recycled polyester, which enhances wind resistance without adding weight to the jacket. On the outside, the recycled nylon shell features a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) treatment: water droplets roll off the surface rather than soaking into the fabric, thereby preserving the insulation’s thermal performance even in light drizzle.
Construction details designed for comfort and practicality
The fixed, three-panel hood conforms to the shape of the head for a secure fit while on the move. The central VISLON® #5 zipper features an internal storm flap and a chin guard—two elements that limit the intrusion of cold air around the torso and face. The elastic cuffs complete this airtight seal by ensuring a snug fit between the sleeve and the hand. The zippered hand pockets provide a secure space for accessories or for quickly warming your fingers.
Recycled materials for more sustainable manufacturing
The entire construction uses recycled materials: recycled nylon for the body, recycled polyester for the WINDWALL™ lining, and recycled goose down for insulation. This choice of materials is part of an effort to reduce environmental impact without compromising the technical performance expected of a down jacket designed for cold-weather wear. The water-repellent treatment is also formulated without perfluorinated compounds, in line with evolving standards in textile chemistry.
