The PUIGMAL JKT’s filling consists of French duck down— 90% down and 10% feathers—produced in Saint-Sever, France, by a company with over 160 years of expertise in down processing. With a certified fill power of 850 cuin according to IDFB standards, this filling effectively captures and retains body heat in a temperature range from +5°C to -10°C. The down jacket is OEKO-TEX® certified, guaranteeing the absence of harmful substances, and animal welfare is integrated into the manufacturing commitments.

Protection from the elements: waterproof, breathable, and windproof

The matte taffeta outer fabric, made from 100% recycled polyester combined with a polyurethane membrane, offers a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24 h. These specifications make the jacket ideal for active use in cold and wet weather, where moisture management remains a key challenge. The PFAS-free treatment replaces traditional water-repellent treatments with a more environmentally friendly formulation, without compromising water resistance. The windproof design complements this feature by minimizing heat loss caused by wind.

The double-slider zipper with a protective flap ensures enhanced waterproofing at the front of the jacket, while the adjustable hood with an elastic drawcord and stoppers allows for precise adjustment depending on conditions. The elasticized hem keeps warmth in at the bottom of the jacket, even during wide-ranging movements. The PUIGMAL JKT is packable and stores in its compression sack, which comes with a carabiner, making it easy to carry in a backpack or luggage. A Pyrenex badge is sewn onto the left sleeve, a discreet indication of where it was made.
