At the heart of the parka is a French duck down filling consisting of 90% down, with a fill power of 750 cuin according to IDFB standards. This loft rating ensures effective thermal insulation across a wide temperature range, from 0°C to -20°C, by trapping warm air close to the body. The manufacturing expertise developed in Saint-Sever ensures the quality and strict hygiene standards of the down used, guaranteeing consistent thermal performance.

A technical outer fabric to withstand the elements

The shell is made of a matte microfiber taffeta composed of 95% polyester and 5% polyurethane, which gives it its characteristic soft, peach-like feel. This fabric features a water-repellent treatment that wards off light precipitation and a windproof design that minimizes heat loss through convection. The fixed hood complements this protection by covering the head without requiring any additional adjustment, while the elasticated cuffs effectively seal the sleeve openings.

Finishing details designed for everyday use

The two-way zipper, protected by a storm flap, allows you to adjust the parka’s opening to suit your mobility needs. The two exterior snap-button pockets are lined with brushed knit fabric, providing welcome warmth for the hands in cold weather. A zippered interior pocket keeps personal belongings secure, and a Pyrenex badge on the left sleeve discreetly indicates the garment’s sportswear heritage.

Care

The Adele parka is machine washable at 30°C. For drying, a low-temperature tumble dry cycle is recommended, using two dryer balls and a cycle of at least four hours to preserve the down’s loft.
