Look PIVOT 2.0 15 GW B105 ALEX HALL Bindings
The LOOK PIVOT 2.0 15 GW B105 ALEX HALL bindings are designed for skiers—both men and women—who practice freeride and freestyle skiing and demand high levels of responsiveness and support. This limited-edition Alex Hall model features an aluminum toe piece and a pivoting heel piece designed to absorb impacts while maintaining reliable retention in the most challenging conditions. The graphic design exclusive to this collaboration makes it instantly recognizable on the snow.
The PIVOT 2.0 15 GW B105 ALEX HALL: power transfer engineered for freeriding
At the heart of these bindings, Turntable Heel technology features a pivoting heel piece that absorbs vertical impacts while keeping the foot securely in place. Combined with Long Elastic Travel technology, it ensures progressive retention throughout the entire range of motion, reducing accidental releases without compromising release in the event of a fall. The DIN/ISO range extends from 6 to 15, covering a wide range of rider sizes and skill levels.
The front toe piece, made of aluminum, provides structural rigidity that promotes direct transmission of lateral forces. The 7 contact points between the binding and the boot reinforce this lateral energy transfer, with 45 mm of lateral elasticity in the toe piece and 28 mm of vertical elasticity in the heel piece. These specifications allow the binding to follow the foot’s movements without premature loss of contact.
Compatibility and Ski Mounting
Short Mounting Zone technology reduces the drilling area on the ski, which preserves the ski’s structure and improves its responsiveness by minimizing the mechanical footprint. Rolling Control technology, meanwhile, enhances power transfer between the boot and the ski by optimizing the foot’s roll with each step. These bindings are compatible with Alpine ISO 5355 soles and GripWalk ISO 23223 A soles, broadening their compatibility with today’s ski boots. The sole length can be adjusted within a 15 mm range, and the brake width of this B105 variant is 95 to 105 mm, suitable for freeride skis with wide tips.
Additional Technical Data
A few dimensional characteristics that do not fit directly into the description of the technologies are worth noting:
- Toe piece height: 16.5 mm, for precise foot positioning when leaning forward.
- Heel height: 19 mm, consistent with the height of the binding plate, for a balanced stance on the ski.
- 180° multi-directional release, allowing the foot to exit in multiple directions under stress.
- Weight: 1,245 g per binding, a factor to consider in the overall balance of your gear.
- Type : Unisex
