The MIPS® Evolve Brain Protection System is integrated directly into the helmet’s structure. This system is designed to reduce the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an oblique impact—a mechanism that the shell alone cannot manage. The polycarbonate outer shell ensures rigidity and lightness, while the expanded polystyrene inner liner absorbs impact energy. The helmet weighs 480 g in size M/L, which is reasonable for an all-mountain helmet incorporating this additional protection. The helmet is certified to ASTM F2040 and EN 1077B, two industry-standard certifications for snow sports helmets.

A precise fit and ventilation designed for the sport

The 360° adjustment system allows you to evenly adjust the helmet’s fit around the head, without any localized pressure points. The semi-detachable ear pads offer flexibility depending on conditions: kept in place in cold weather, they can be removed for greater auditory freedom. Ventilation is provided by front vents, dedicated goggle vents, and internal channels that promote airflow, reducing condensation and maintaining a clear field of vision. A flexible clip at the back keeps the goggles securely in place, whether you’re skiing or snowboarding.

All-Mountain Compatibility and Versatility

The OBEX CONTOUR helmet is compatible with Obex communication systems, sold separately, allowing you to integrate an audio solution without altering the helmet’s structure.
