The Electron Cairn’s In-Mold construction: strength and lightness combined

In-Mold technology involves directly fusing the polycarbonate outer shell with the inner EPS foam during the manufacturing process. This process creates a seamless, uniform structure, which helps reduce the helmet’s overall weight while maintaining good impact absorption. Weighing in at 410 g, the Electron remains comfortable to wear over extended periods, minimizing neck strain during long sessions on the slopes. It is certified as PPE Category 2, which attests to its compliance with current safety standards for ski and snowboard equipment, though it does not guarantee absolute protection against all types of impacts.

Comfort Tailored to Mountain Conditions

The Electron features a Wheel Fit adjustment system: a dial located at the back of the helmet allows for precise head circumference adjustment, even while wearing gloves. This precise fit ensures a stable hold without excessive pressure. The adjustable vents allow you to regulate airflow based on temperature and activity level, which is useful in both extreme cold and while riding the lifts.
