Smith TRANSFER Ski Goggles

Smith TRANSFER Ski Goggles: Wide Field of View and Reliable Protection in the Mountains

The Smith TRANSFER Ski Goggles are designed for your mountain adventures, where clear visibility of the terrain and goggle stability are essential. Their sleek design emphasizes a wide field of view thanks to a cylindrical lens engineered for the varied conditions encountered while skiing or snowboarding. You’ll enjoy targeted protection against sunlight and impacts, allowing you to stay focused on your line. This unisex goggle is designed to accompany you on your days at the resort, offering a perfect balance of protection, comfort, and ventilation.

Safety-Focused Eye Protection and Lens Construction

At the heart of the Smith TRANSFER ski goggles, the Carbonic-X cylindrical lens delivers a combination of optical clarity and impact resistance—two key factors for keeping you safe on varied terrain. Its Fog-X anti-fog coating limits condensation buildup on the inside of the lens, helping to maintain a clear view when conditions on the snow become more challenging. 100% UVA/UVB protection rounds out this package by filtering out light that could be harmful to your eyes, ensuring your visual comfort throughout the day. You’ll enjoy a lens tailored to mountain conditions, without the need for an additional visor or protective accessories not included in the specifications.

Facial comfort and a precise fit for extended sessions

Comfort against the face is ensured by a dual-layer, compression-molded face foam designed to gradually conform to your contours and minimize pressure points. Combined with the Responsive Fit™ system, the Smith TRANSFER ski goggle adapts to the shape of your face for a stable fit throughout your runs. This design aims to reduce unwanted goggle movement, which can disrupt your vision when the pace picks up. A Low Bridge Fit model is available for faces with a lower nose bridge or wide/high cheekbones, to optimize contact and prevent gaps between the goggles and your skin.

Ventilation and Stable Visibility in Changing Conditions

Airflow technology provides active ventilation inside the goggles, promoting air circulation to limit moisture buildup. Combined with Fog-X treatment, this design is intended to maintain stable visibility when weather conditions alternate between snow, fog, and clear spells. The wide field of view provided by the cylindrical lens makes it easier to read terrain and changes in snow texture, whether you’re skiing on the piste or off-piste. This allows you to maintain a consistent awareness of your surroundings, which is essential for adjusting your speed and lines with confidence.

Practicality and Compatibility with Your Ski Helmet

The Smith TRANSFER ski goggles are designed for optimal integration with Smith helmets, minimizing gaps between the top of the goggles and the bottom of the ski helmet and enhancing anti-fog performance. The ultra-wide strap with a silicone coating helps keep the goggles securely in place on your helmet by reducing the risk of slipping, even when you’re stringing together spins and sharp turns. This design enhances the overall stability of your gear, without requiring complex adjustments or additional accessories not listed in the specifications.

To help you visualize the practical benefits of these technologies, here are the key technical details of the Smith TRANSFER ski goggles and how they perform in real-world conditions:

• Cylindrical Carbonic-X lens: optical clarity and impact resistance for reliable terrain visibility.
• Fog-X anti-fog treatment: reduces internal condensation for more stable visibility.
