The POC FOVEA MID MARCO ODER ski goggle is a special edition developed in collaboration with Marco Odermatt, designed to meet the demands of high-speed competition while accommodating smaller faces. Its signature design, recognizable by the lion graphics printed on the strap, combines a sporty aesthetic with technical performance. Unisex and available in one size, this ski goggle is designed for both competitors and discerning skiers and snowboarders seeking gear inspired by elite-level performance. The POC FOVEA MID MARCO ODER delivers on its promise of precise vision, a secure fit, and true on-the-snow versatility.

Optimized vision thanks to the toric lens and Clarity technology

At the heart of this ski goggle is a toric lens, a lens geometry that combines the advantages of both cylindrical and spherical lenses: it conforms to the curvature of the face along two axes, reducing peripheral optical distortion and widening the effective field of view. This benefit is particularly noticeable at high speeds, when reading the terrain must be immediate and distortion-free.

Clarity technology, developed in partnership with Zeiss, enhances the contrast and definition of the snow, allowing you to distinguish variations in terrain, patches of ice, and bumps with greater precision. The polycarbonate outer lens offers impact resistance suited for intensive use, while the cellulose propionate inner lens contributes to the overall optical quality. UV 400 protection completely blocks ultraviolet radiation, regardless of ambient light conditions.

Comfort, Anti-Fog, and Secure Fit

The POC FOVEA MID MARCO ODER incorporates several features to maintain clear vision over time. The anti-fog coating applied to the inner surface of the lens limits condensation during changes in physical exertion or temperature. The high-density ventilation foam, positioned around the perimeter of the frame, promotes air circulation between the goggles and the face without creating unwanted cold drafts.

The triple-layer facial foam provides a gradual and comfortable fit against the face, absorbing vibrations and conforming to the contours of the face. The padding around the nose has been specifically optimized for lower nasal bridges, which explains why this model is designed for smaller face shapes. The adjustable strap, equipped with silicone inserts, keeps the goggles securely in place without slipping, even during falls or sudden changes in direction.

The hydrophobic and oleophobic Ri-Pel treatments applied to the outer surface repel water, snow, and fingerprints, maintaining optical clarity in wet or snowy conditions.

Lens Versatility and Lens-Changing System

This snowboard and ski goggle comes with a second lens included, making it instantly adaptable to different light conditions. The interchangeable lens system allows you to switch between lenses conveniently, without any special tools. Several replacement lenses are compatible with this model, covering a wide range of conditions:

• Clarity Highly Intense Cloudy Violet (Category 1): suitable for overcast conditions and low light, to enhance contrast on gray days.
• Clarity Universal Partly Cloudy Gray (Category 2): versatile for days with variable light conditions, ranging from cloudy to sunny spells.
• Clarity Highly Intense Sunny Silver (Category 3): designed for sunny weather and strong sunlight, reducing glare on snow.
• Clear No Mirror (Category 0): for very low-light conditions, nighttime, or thick fog, with maximum light transmission.
• Orange Mirror Intense, Blue Mirror Intense, Coral Intense, Pink High Intense: mirrored or tinted lenses to fine-tune contrast management based on personal preferences and specific conditions.

This range of compatible lenses makes the POC FOVEA MID MARCO ODER a goggle capable of adapting to all conditions encountered on the slopes, from nighttime to very sunny high-mountain days. The goggles are also compatible with POC junior racing helmets, featuring a seamless fit designed specifically for this purpose. It comes with a microfiber storage pouch, which also serves as a cleaning cloth, as well as a soft goggle case to protect the replacement lenses during transport.

The POC FOVEA MID MARCO ODER is designed for skiers and snowboarders who prioritize visual clarity in all conditions, whether they’re competing or tackling challenging on-piste runs. Thanks to its toric lens, Clarity technology, and interchangeable lens system, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a ski goggle that’s high-performing, adaptable, and tailored to smaller face shapes.
