Designed for bikepacking, the Ortlieb Frame-Pack Toptube Hook&Loop frame bag is ideal for cyclists looking for secure, waterproof storage on the top tube of their frame. Its hook-and-loop fasteners and waterproof closure make it a reliable solution for long-distance rides, whether you’re riding through the rain or on a dusty trail.

Certified waterproofing to protect your essentials

The Frame-Pack Toptube Hook&Loop features a waterproof TIZIP zipper and radio-frequency welded seams—two technologies that ensure consistent protection of the contents against water and dust. The bag meets IP67 certification standards, meaning it can withstand temporary submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The body is made of PU-coated nylon, a material known for its abrasion resistance, and is PVC-free. For the 3-liter version, the total weight is approximately 170 grams—a figure consistent with the requirements for gear designed not to unnecessarily weigh down the bike.

A versatile mounting system suitable for many frames

The Hook&Loop system uses sturdy hook-and-loop straps compatible with tube diameters ranging from 30 mm to 70 mm, which significantly expands the range of compatible bikes. The bag is also suitable for carbon frames—an important consideration for cyclists riding high-end bikes who need to be careful not to damage their frames. The design also allows for continued access to a bottle cage without compromising storage capacity.

A 3-liter capacity designed for a well-balanced center of gravity

Measuring approximately 40 x 15 x 6 cm and with a 3-liter capacity, the pannier offers enough space for heavy gear to be positioned as close as possible to the bike’s center of gravity. The maximum load capacity of 3 kg allows for dense accessories to be stored without throwing the bike off balance. Reflective logos are integrated into the bag, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions. The bag is manufactured in Heilsbronn, Germany, and comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on materials and workmanship.
