A men's sweater with a modern aesthetic, rooted in Norwegian Setesdal tradition. The Torridal combines refined design, comfort, and authenticity for a versatile and distinctive piece.

Material & Comfort

Made from 100% sustainable Norwegian wool, this sweater is knitted in a heavy 4-ply, 5-gauge knit. It weighs approximately 820 g in size L, providing significant thermal insulation while remaining breathable. The crew neck and T-sleeves add to its everyday comfort and casual look. Designed and knitted in Norway, it reflects local craftsmanship and high-end quality.

Design & Fit

The design revisits traditional Setesdal patterns with a clean, unpatterned version for a more contemporary look. Aesthetic patterns are concentrated on the yoke and hem, embellished with stripes on the collar, cuffs, and bottom of the sweater—a subtle and modern reinterpretation of the classic Lusekofta. The regular fit is ideal as a midlayer, offering a loose and comfortable silhouette for everyday wear.

Manufacturing & Care

Designed to last, the sweater is entirely designed and knitted in Norway, guaranteeing artisanal quality. Despite its robust texture, it should only be hand washed to preserve the structure of the highly resistant wool. This care helps to maintain the softness, density, and appearance of the sweater over time, while emphasizing the importance of caring for natural fibers.

Versatility & Use

Perfect as a mid-layer for winter activities or a simple outdoor sweater in the city, the Torridal combines warmth and elegance. Its thickness makes it ideal for cold weather, while maintaining a refined look for urban wear.

Heritage & Aesthetics

Inspired by the Setesdal heritage, this sweater revisits the Lusekofta without its traditional patterns, giving rise to a more contemporary version. Its balanced design, between simplicity and graphic finesse, makes it a piece marked by history and Nordic authenticity.
