The Stratos 44 focuses above all on a light and balanced carrying experience. Its AirSpeed™ suspension system is based on a trampoline-style mesh back panel, which keeps the bag away from the back to promote continuous air circulation. Combined with a LightWire frame, it ensures excellent load transfer, even when the bag is full. The padded and ventilated harness, complemented by an ergonomic ErgoPull hipbelt, wraps around the torso with precision and limits pressure points on long distances.

Organization designed for active hiking

Designed to keep your gear accessible at all times, the Stratos 44 offers comprehensive and consistent organization. Each storage area has been designed to keep pace with your walking and simplify life on the trail:

• top-loading main compartment with drawstring closure
• discreet zippered side access for quick access to contents
• separate, foldable bottom compartment, accessible from the bottom
• large vertical zippered front pocket for clothing or an extra layer
• zippered pockets on the waist belt for small essentials
• Stretch side pockets for water bottles or accessories
• Stow-on-the-Go™ system for attaching poles without removing the bag
• integrated rain cover, ready to deploy in case of bad weather

Osprey Stratos 44: a reliable bag for all weather conditions

Designed to accompany you in all conditions, the Stratos 44 includes a waterproof rain cover stored in a dedicated compartment at the base of the bag. The upper and lower compression straps effectively stabilize the load, while the external attachment points allow you to attach an ice axe, poles, or additional equipment. Compatible with a hydration system, it has an internal sleeve with Hydraclip to keep the water bladder securely in place and the hose always accessible.
