These socks are ideal for mountain outings when temperatures rise. They are made with a high proportion of natural linen, a fiber known for its breathability and thermoregulatory properties. This material wicks away perspiration and helps maintain a comfortable climate around the foot, even during long days of walking. With their X-Light thickness, these socks provide a noticeable feeling of lightness while maintaining the necessary protection on the trails.
The technical design of the TREK LIN MID aims to reduce pressure points and limit friction during exercise. Ergonomic protection at the heel and metatarsal area reinforces the most stressed areas, while extra padding at the toes and heel improves cushioning and comfort in the shoe. The seamless toe box protects the toes from irritation and contributes to a more natural feel when walking. Reinforced terry cloth areas also protect the malleoli and the base of the foot, ensuring comfortable support over time.
Ventilated areas throughout the sock promote air circulation to keep feet cool during exercise. The blend of linen and cotton offers a soft feel while retaining the breathability essential for summer trekking. With 52% linen in its composition, this model combines performance with a more responsible approach. Made in Montceau-les-Mines, France, this pair illustrates MONNET's expertise and attention to manufacturing quality.
