The injection-molded ladder-style torso adjustment system allows you to adjust the back length over a range of 38 to 48 cm—a four-inch range of adjustability—to find the precise fit for every body type. The hip belt, compatible with waist sizes ranging from 63.5 to 127 cm, effectively distributes weight across the pelvis. The recommended load range of 11 to 16 kg is perfectly suited for a self-supported weekend trip, and the adjustable chest strap with a safety whistle stabilizes the pack during technical sections. The 4-mm LightWire™ perimeter frame provides structural support without adding unnecessary weight, bringing the total weight to 1.59 kg.

Organization and Management of Gear in the Field

The main top-loading access is complemented by a zippered lower compartment designed for a sleeping bag, separated from the main compartment by a floating divider that can be removed as needed. The fixed top flap features a zippered pocket for quick-access items. On the sides, the double mesh side pockets can hold either a water bottle or sleeping gear, while the zippered pockets on the hip belt keep essentials within reach without having to take the pack off. The dual side compression straps, positioned at the top and bottom, allow you to adjust the loaded volume and stabilize the load. The internal hydration sleeve ensures compatibility with a water bladder, and the removable sleeping pad straps provide additional external attachment points.
