Osprey Stratos 24: an ultra-comfortable and perfectly ventilated hiking pack

Carrying comfort is at the heart of the Stratos 24’s design. Thanks to its AirSpeed™ suspension system, this model offers a remarkably lightweight feel even on long outings. The trampoline-style tensioned mesh back panel promotes constant airflow, thereby reducing sweating. The LightWire perimeter frame ensures excellent load distribution.

Added to this are an ergonomic padded harness, an adjustable chest strap with a magnetic closure, and a comfortable hip belt with the ErgoPull system, ensuring a precise fit and optimal support while on the move.

Smart organization to keep essentials within reach

Beyond its organization, the Stratos 24 stands out for its many technical features. It features side compression straps to stabilize the load, even on rough terrain. Backpacking enthusiasts will appreciate the Stow-on-the-Go™ system for quickly securing trekking poles, as well as the dedicated ice axe loop.

Attachment loops on the front panel also allow you to add extra gear as needed. Finally, its integrated rain cover, discreetly stowed in a lower compartment, lets you handle weather changes with ease.

A durable and eco-friendly hiking backpack

Designed to last, the Stratos 24 is part of a responsible approach. Certified bluesign®, it guarantees manufacturing that meets strict environmental and social criteria. The materials used are fully recycled and feature a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment, thereby limiting environmental impact.

Its main fabric, made of high-strength ripstop nylon, combined with sturdy reinforcements on exposed areas, ensures excellent durability. Weighing just 2.95 pounds, it also offers a load capacity suitable for day trips—between 10 and 30 pounds—for versatile and high-performance use.
