A versatile climbing shoe to help you progress with confidence
Designed as versatile climbing shoes, the EB ESCALADE PRIME strike a balance between technical performance and accessibility to support your progress, from beginner levels to more ambitious projects. The6/10 asymmetry profile offers a good compromise between precision on holds and overall feel, allowing you to work on your technique without excessive strain on the foot. With a 5/10 toe box, the shoe remains grippy enough to place on small holds while maintaining a relatively natural foot position. Designed for climbers of all levels, this model appeals to those who want a single pair of climbing shoes to switch between indoor climbing walls and outdoor routes, without having to change shoes for every session.
Comfort engineered for long sessions
The 8/10 comfort rating of the EB ESCALADE PRIME climbing shoes is a real asset for climbers who spend time on the indoor wall or out on the rock face. This focus on comfort minimizes foot fatigue as the session progresses, allowing you to stay more focused on your technique and route reading. The weight of approximately 420 g in size 40 helps maintain a good feel without being too heavy, which is especially appreciated when you’re tackling one climb after another. The full-length Flex 4 midsole enhances support underfoot while guiding foot placement—a tangible benefit on demanding holds where stability makes all the difference. This comfortable yet structured design makes it a reliable partner for sport climbing, whether you’re just starting out or climbing regularly.
Grip and Support with Optimax Rubber
The 4 mm sole of the EB ESCALADE PRIME climbing shoes is made of Optimax rubber, chosen to provide optimal grip on holds. This sole thickness combines a supportive feel with durability, which is particularly relevant for versatile use, both indoors and outdoors. The EVO microfiber used for the upper provides consistent foot support while contributing to the shoe’s overall comfort during extended use. With a flex rating of 1.0 dan, the shoe offers moderate stiffness that helps climbers apply pressure more effectively to small holds while maintaining just enough flexibility to adapt to the rock’s contours.
The EB ESCALADE PRIME climbing shoes are a versatile solution for unisex climbers looking for a comfortable, grippy, and well-balanced model for their climbing sessions throughout the WINTER season.
