Biolite FIREPIT+ barbecue

The FIREPIT+ barbecue by Biolite is now available from Speck-Sports.

The Firepit+ barbecue is probably the next essential piece of camping equipment.

This brazier has 51 air jets powered by an integrated 12,800 mAh battery. Using your smartphone, you can adjust the intensity of the air propelled through 4 levels. An improved version of the Firepit, the Firepit+ offers longer autonomy. At low fan speed, it can run for up to 30 hours, compared with 7 hours at full power.

And it's made from stainless steel, so it's light, strong and durable. The feet are retractable, making it ultra-compact when you're transporting it.

It starts up in the same way as a conventional barbecue, but make sure you only use dry logs (40 cm) or barbecue charcoal for optimum performance. For maintenance, the hatch underneath allows you to remove the cold ashes.
