The Chair One (re) from HELINOX brings a fresh perspective to the iconic Chair One by incorporating a key innovation: the (re)Tension Design. This new method introduces a second tension line that distributes weight differently around the frame, offering a much softer and more enveloping seating experience. Measuring 71 cm in height and 57 cm in width, it offers a more accessible seating position than the original model, while maintaining a compact size when folded into its 39 × 13.5 × 12 cm carry bag.

A structure built to last

The frame is built from theexclusive DAC aluminum alloy, selected for its durability and proven strength. The nylon resin hubs have been redesigned to improve stability, while reinforced corners ensure precise seat support. The Chair One (re) also stands out for its useof recycled aluminum from production scraps, a testament to a more responsible design approach. The chair remains lightweight: 1,115 g when packed away, yet capable of supporting up to 145 kg when in use.

High-performance, breathable materials

The seat features bluesign®-certified, recycled 300D polyester , selected for its weather resistance and ability to maintain its shape over time. Mesh panels are integrated to ensure pleasant airflow on warmer days. This choice of materials ensures a reliable, stable, and comfortable seat, even with repeated use. The frame unfolds easily thanks to the arches connected by an elastic cord, making assembly intuitive and quick.

A portable and functional chair for everyday use

Compact, foldable, and easy to carry, this chair fits easily into a bag or the back of a vehicle. Its built-in side pocket keeps your small items within reach, whether it’s a phone, a notebook, or a flashlight.
