What is the Spoon shape? The engineers at Nemo Equipment started from a simple observation: 70% of people prefer to sleep on their side. Traditional sleeping bags in the shape of a sarcophagus are very effective in preventing heat loss, but are not very comfortable when you want to move around. Nemo Equipment's Spoon sleeping bags are wide at the shoulders, taper at the hips and widen again at the knees.
