Snowshoeing
The ski-snowshoe is a new development in Nordic touring. It's a short, wide ski with an integrated synthetic sealskin under the sole.
Characteristics of snowshoe skis
On the way up, you have the stability and manoeuvrability of snowshoes, with added efficiency on gentle slopes.
On the way down, you can slide and even link a few Telemark turns on slightly steeper slopes.
As the skins are fixed, there's no need to manipulate the skins between the ascent and descent, and you can do one outing after another without having to take off the skins and put them back on. There's no risk of technical problems either.
The bindings on the products we sell are universal. You can use them with hiking boots or boots that aren't too big.
