Product overview

The Black Crows Solis ski is a deliberately specialized precision instrument, designed to tame verticality and hard high-mountain snow. Developed to meet the demands of steep slopes, it stands out with a consistent flex along its entire length, coupled with extremities (tip and tail) that are firm enough to guarantee flawless control and reassure the skier during exposed passages, even with a heavy backpack. Its profile integrates a titanal plate underfoot that ensures secure grip and excellent power transmission on hard or frozen snow.

Thanks to its long tip radius and specific sidecuts, it encourages natural pivoting and prevents any risk of over-steering in delicate slaloms. Its construction combines a paulownia and poplar wood core with fiberglass reinforcements, finding a relevant balance between weight control, durability, and damping. Intended for advanced to expert level skiers, the Solis establishes itself as a must-have reference in the big mountain range to tackle commitment with poise and control.

Use and care

It is recommended to have your bindings mounted and adjusted by a qualified professional. Regular maintenance of the bases and edge sharpening will preserve the ski's grip performance on hard snow. Store your skis in a dry place away from moisture after waxing them at the end of the season.
