One-piece poles designed for performance in ski touring and racing

Skitrab GARA PRO POLES are built around a one-piece Ergal aluminum tube, a high-strength alloy that offers a good balance between stiffness and stress absorption. Designed for racing and ski touring, they meet the demands of a rigorous sport where every gram and every step counts.

Robust construction and optimized lightness

The one-piece Ergal aluminum structure, with a tube diameter of 16 mm and a wall thickness of 0.8 mm, ensures direct energy transfer with every push. This choice of material offers superior durability against lateral impacts—a tangible advantage on varied terrain or in race conditions. The listed weight is 215 grams for the 130-cm length, a figure consistent with these poles’ competitive design. The Widia carbide tip ensures a firm grip on hard snow and ice, without premature wear.

Grip designed for the demands of hiking

The vertical cork grip naturally conforms to the shape of the hand and absorbs sweat during long ascents, reducing fatigue on extended outings. The Vertical Clip wrist strap allows for precise adjustment of the wrist fit and makes it easy to engage or release the hand depending on the terrain. These two features combined make the GARA PRO POLES particularly well-suited for the alternating ascents and descents typical of ski touring.

Interchangeable baskets for all-terrain versatility

The Gara QC screw-on basket system allows for quick changes depending on snow conditions. Here are the key components that define the versatility of these poles:

• Gara QC basket: screw-on attachment for quick replacement without special tools.
• Widia carbide tip: durable grip on hard snow, ice, and mixed terrain.
• Vertical cork grip: thermal comfort and moisture absorption on long outings.
• Vertical Clip wrist strap: precise adjustment of wrist support for effective grip.

G ARA PRO POLES are available in lengths ranging from 110 to 145 cm in 5-cm increments, allowing every skier to find the size best suited to their body type and technique. For ski tourers and competitive skiers looking for a reliable, precise, and durable tool, these poles are a choice that meets the demands of the terrain.
