The Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3 is an ultralight, 3-season, semi-freestanding 3-person tent designed for demanding adventurers looking for high-performance, reliable, and minimalist shelter. Designed for trekking and multi-day trips, it is ideal for hikers who want to optimize every gram without sacrificing comfort or protection from the elements.

Thanks to its new exclusive HyperBead™ construction, the Tiger Wall UL3 sets a new standard in lightness and durability. This innovative fabric is 6% lighter, 25% more waterproof, and 50% stronger than traditional fabrics, while being designed without the intentional addition of PFAS. It requires no re-waterproofing over time, ensuring lasting performance season after season.

Generous space and smart design

Its semi-self-supporting architecture with a single large-volume pole, combined with a DAC Featherlite NFL pole, ensures quick setup, excellent stability, and reliable wind resistance. Despite its low weight, the Tiger Wall UL3 offers a surprisingly generous interior space, perfectly suited for three hikers with their gear.

The two large side doors make it easy to get in and out, while the two spacious vestibules (0.7 + 0.7 m²) provide dry storage for gear. Structured corners supported by stakes increase the volume at the foot end and significantly improve comfort when lying down.

Effective ventilation for drier nights

The Tiger Wall UL3 has optimized ventilation to limit condensation, even during wet or cool stages. The Low Vent system creates constant air circulation from below, while the double zipper closure allows you to precisely adjust the ventilation according to the conditions. The breathable mesh inner chamber further improves thermal and hygrometric comfort.

Quick and secure setup on any terrain

Setup is simplified with the TipLok™ Tent Buckle system, which allows you to attach the poles, tension the flysheet, and secure the whole thing in one easy step. Color-coded corners and poles make setup intuitive, even after a long day of hiking.

Reflective guy lines and straps ensure optimal visibility at night, while the guy lines are pre-cut and pre-attached for quick and error-free setup.

Practical features and useful accessories

Inside, the Tiger Wall UL3 has 2 side pockets, 2 ceiling pockets, and multiple loops for hanging lamps or accessories. It is compatible with the mtnGLO® lighting system (sold separately) for even, adjustable LED lighting. The Quick Stash closure allows you to quickly stow the unzipped door without cluttering up the space.

The tent comes with an EZ Pack storage bag with a wide longitudinal opening and compression straps for easy and efficient storage. To extend its life, we recommend using a compatible Big Agnes Footprint.
