The new BACKLAND WMN 78 touring skis by Atomic are now available from Speck-Sports.
The Backland WMN 78 is one of the lightest models in the Backland range, making it a formidable weapon when it comes to positive vertical drops.
The Backland 's lightness is made possible by its Ultralight Woodcore made from poplar and Karuba, and its skate measuring just 78mm.
Nonetheless, it still offers respectable downhill performance thanks to its All Mountain Rocker and HRZN technology in the tip, which give it better lift and improved manoeuvrability.
Finally, its Cap Sidewall construction absorbs vibrations while providing better grip on different types of terrain.
The BACKLAND WMN 78 touring ski by Atomic is above all a lightweight ski, designed for mountaineering, for beginners or experienced skiers looking for new horizons.
The Backland WMN 78 is sold with SKIN 78/80 skins.
These skins are pre-cut to fit the Backland WMN 78 perfectly and require no cutting. Made from a 70% mohair blend, they offer the perfect compromise between grip, glide and durability.
