Osprey AETHER 55 Garlic Mustard Green Backpack

The little brother of the Aether Plus range, the Aether 55 offers a large volume for your long mountain outings.

Bigger means heavier, which is why Osprey has equipped it with a host of adjustment options to give you the most comfortable backpack possible. There are adjustable shoulder straps and a Fit-on-the-Fly waist belt, as well as the option of adjusting the length of the back. The Airscape back panel with EVA foam padding makes this model both breathable and comfortable.

The main compartment can be accessed in three ways: from the top, from the bottom or via a U-shaped opening at the front. With a removable divider, this large compartment can be split in two. So opening from the bottom gives you access to the lower compartment.

When it comes to storage, the Aether 55 has plenty of room for all your gear: double zipped pockets in the top flap, front tote pocket, side mesh pockets with double access, pole holder, two zipped pockets in the waist belt and twin ice axe loops. To optimise storage, the Aether 55 is also equipped with compression straps.

Last but not least, the Aether 55 is a highly functional and well thought-out rucksack, with an integrated rain cover, a system for inserting a water bag and even the option of attaching a Daylite model to the front for day trips.
