This Osprey Rook 50 Black has a taut AirSpeed back to considerably reduce perspiration on the back. This design allows the body to follow the shape of the waistband and lumbar part of the backpack, for enhanced comfort and an even more stable and assisted load-carrying. The height adjustment of the shoulder straps is very intuitive thanks to the innovative vertical adjustment system on rails. The Rook 50 can be adjusted quickly and easily to suit you perfectly. To accommodate a greater variety of back lengths, these bags are equipped with load-bearing straps on the shoulder straps that guarantee the comfort of the bag in any position. A wide, ultra-padded waist belt provides a comfortable hip feeling and assists in carrying heavier loads.

The Osprey Rook 50 Black has all the essential features for multi-day touring; a generous volume with access through the top flap and the lower sleeping bag compartment. An internal divider provides a separate bottom compartment and can be removed when not in use. Numerous compression straps ensure the stability of the backpack without hindering access to the water bottle net pockets. The two pockets on the waistband and the large pocket on the top flap with a key ring allow quick access to small items.

The Osprey Rook 50 Black is compatible with the Osprey Daylite backpacks. This allows you to attach the small bag to the large one for more volume and another optional bag for outings of a few hours while leaving your large backpack in the tent.
