The ROOK completes Osprey's range of women's hiking backpacks. It's an accomplished, high-performance backpack that will appeal to many demanding hikers in terms of equipment.
The Osprey Rook 65 Black has a stretched AirSpeed back to considerably reduce back perspiration. This design allows the body to follow the shape of the waistband and lumbar section of the backpack, for enhanced comfort and even more stable, assisted load-carrying.
Adjusting the height of the shoulder straps is very intuitive thanks to the innovative vertical adjustment system on rails. The Rook 65 can be adjusted quickly and easily to suit you perfectly.
To suit a wider range of back lengths, these bags are fitted with load-balancing straps on the shoulder straps to ensure that the bag remains comfortable in all positions. A wide, ultra-padded hip belt provides a comfortable feel on the hips and assists with carrying heavier loads.
The Osprey Rook 65 Black has all the essential features for multi-day backpacking trips; generous volume with access through the top flap and bottom sleeping bag compartment. An internal divider provides a separate lower compartment and can be removed when not in use. Numerous compression straps ensure the stability of the rucksack without hindering access to the mesh water bottle pockets.
Two pockets on the waistband and a large pocket on the top flap with a keyring provide quick access to small items.
The Osprey Rook 65 Black is compatible with Osprey's Daylite backpacks. This means you can attach the smaller bag to the larger one for extra volume, and another bag as an option for outings lasting a few hours, leaving your larger rucksack in the tent.
