The Mountaineer snowshoe from Tubbs is versatile and will allow you to move forward easily on your excursions. You'll get great traction thanks to the Anaconda™ tip and its 8 crampon teeth. Downhill braking will be ensured by the Python™ heel crampon centered under the boot. The ActiveFit™ 2.0 binding will bring you comfort, safety and ease of use thanks to the TPU strap that will reduce friction and ice build-up. To release the binding, simply pull on the pull strap. You'll also be able to easily replace your binding straps. The 180™ EZ BINDING heel buckle enables simple tightening and is combined with easy-to-use Control Wings™ and a heel strap for effective, lightweight support. The Pro-Step™ frame combines continuous frame curvature with longer, lower rise for improved flotation. Mountaineer snowshoes are complemented by an ActiveLift™ heel elevator , which helps reduce calf fatigue as well as Achilles tendon strain. This 19° Backcountry heel lift is ideal for steeper extreme ascents.
