The MAESTRALE XT freerando boot by Scarpa returns to Speck-Sports with a new design.
The Maestrale XT is undoubtedly the most downhill-oriented shoe in the Maestrale range.
The combination of carbon and grilamid in the shell has been designed to create a very stiff, responsive boot, as evidenced by its 130 flex. Compared with the RS model, the Maestrale XT has two buckles and a slightly more pronounced forward lean, making it much better at descending. Thanks to the Wave Closure instep buckle, the Maestrale XT closes like an alpine boot, but with less weight.
Despite the power of the Maestrale XT, it's still agile thanks to its XT ski/walk mechanism, which frees up the collar to provide 56° of travel.
For comfort, the Intuition liner is thermoformable, for an adapted fit and a good dose of warmth.
The MAESTRALE XT by Scarpa is a freerando boot with ultra-high performance on the way down and comfortable on the way up, combining the best of both worlds.
